Blue Mountain Recruiting was formed in 2017 as a partnership between two experienced banking and recruiting professionals. Since then we have grown our recruiting staff and have become a premier recruiting agency in the banking industry. Jim Eider
Executive Recruiter
Jim Eider has over twenty years of combined banking, financial services, and financial recruitment experience. He has worked directly for one of the largest banks in the nation as a commercial banking focused recruiter and in agency recruiting. He has also worked as a commercial banker, a treasury management consultant, finance manager, and as a regional manager for one of the largest SBA loan service providers in the nation.
Jim focuses his recruitment efforts predominately in SBA and commercial banking. Jim holds an MBA, he is a Certified Treasury Professional (CTP), and he has received formal credit and lending training from Coleman Publishing and National Association of Government Guaranteed Lending (NAGGL).

Karl Mecklenburg
Executive Recruiter
Karl brings over 22 years of executive recruiting experience to the company. He has worked as both a corporate Recruiter and manager as well as running his own agency previously. His specializations have been in banking, mortgage and insurance. His previous business to business sales and consultation career gives him a total of nearly 30 years of experience in managing client relationship and consulting businesses. Karl has a deep pool of talent he has developed relationships with throughout the United States. He resides in both Washington State and New Mexico. Karl is a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force and has a BA from The Evergreen State College.

Paul Schnaider
Director of Business Development
With over 20 years’ experience working in the financial services industry, managing relationship with closely held, privately owned, middle market businesses, not for profit organizations, and high net worth individuals. Paul enjoyed a successful career as commercial banking professional specializing in both commercial lending and treasury management. Paul also has worked with high-net-worth individuals and businesses owners as a financial consultant assisting his clients plan for significant life events.
Paul has a natural business development DNA that has resulted in key relationships with Community and Commercial Banks, and SBA lenders, which have lead to many successful recruitments.
Because of his professional experience Paul has a unique ability to identify and qualify key traits that ensure candidates have the proper skills desired by our clients, ensuring that when candidates ultimately take on their new roles both our clients and the candidate have a clear path to success.
